What's even better is that the controller I used is the third party controller I was using before. The game worked like a charm! It ran at a fluid framerate and ran perfectly! I didn't even notice any beeps. Well, I launched the game up, anxious, and guess what? Black screen.

'Nuff said.Īfter I fixed the two things above, Nintendon't loaded, and Hallelujah! It found the iso! This was the same iso as before, by the way. This is probably the big mistake I made, and it's an obvious one:.

My PC couldn't see it, but read-wise, my old 10.6 Mac was able to detect the corrupted file and read the games folder and repaired the disk. This was causing my Linux computer to fail to read the games folder. I am assuming that everyone here knows that, for the time, the Wii was incredibly under-powered compared to its competitors (PS3 + Xbox 360.

I gave up until today, when I found out two things were/could be causing Nintendont to not read the game off my USB stick (not the external hard drive, a standard USB stick): Since I have a backup of my entire old PC on there, I didn't want to lose it. Turns out neither were corrupted, it seems to be the hard drive (the way it's set up, not the drive itself). I will try to find a working GameCube controller as I'm desperate to get the game to work.

rows Super Smash Brothers Melee GCN ISO Nintendo Gamecube super smash bros melee (v1. Then I tried playing it with Nintendont and I had the issues described above. NBA 2K12 ISO file is available in the USA version at our library I. I downloaded it myself (saving it to my external hard drive), md5 checked it, and turns out it was a clean, 1:1. I found an iso on YouTube and in the comments people were saying that it was a clean iso. Many years later, I wanted to play the game again, and since my GPU sucks on my laptop (Steam warns me when attempting to use Big Picture at the native resolution which is 1336x768, and even at a lower one like 720p), I can't use Dolphin even if I drop the clock speed to something low. The reason why I'm trying to play Melee is because I used to have a disk which I played at my cousin's house on their Wii long ago, but since then it got stepped on and wasn't noticed for a while because of its small size. Like I said, SA2B does work off the hard disk and the actual game disk.

The memcard works fine with the wii remote. I only have one memory card and Melee doesn't allow Slot B.
